Fluralaner, (INN) sold under the brand name Bravecto among others, is a systemic insecticide and acaricide that is administered orally or topically. Fluralaner is distributed throughout a pet's body after administration. When a flea or tick bites the pet, it's exposed to the drug and killed during its blood meal. Fluralaner is generally safe for dogs, but it's toxic for fleas and ticks.
